All-in

Fold
When you don’t want to put forward any more chips and are willing to let go of the chips you have already put towards the pot. Effectively giving up on the round.
Nuts
The best hand at the current point during a game.
Bankroll
The amount you’ve allocated to use for your game.
Bluff
When you try to play with hand with the least or low chances of winning to deceive the other players into thinking you have a good hand.
Buying the Pot
When you win the pot with a bluff or semi-bluff like when you go All-in when you have bad cards.
Raise
When you increase the chips to the original bet, making it more costly for other players to continue the round to win the pot.
Call
When you raise the least possible amount of chips to continue to play a hand.
Ante
The name of the small value that every player has to give before a hand is dealt in order for there to be a starting pot.
Straight Flush
When you have a hand of five cards of the same suit and in order that is continuous like 5,6,7 etc.
Royal Flush
The strongest possible hand that can be made in a game when you have an Ace to ten of the same rank.
Full House
A Hand where three out of five cards are of one suit while the other two are of another, such as having 3 cards of Diamonds and two from Spades.
Showdown
The final part of the game when you have to display your cards in an order.
Tell
A tactic use where a player signals another player discreetly which gives off what kind of hand they have.
Shark
What you call a seasoned or really good player who tends to win a lot of matches.
